What’s it all about?

metabolic balance® is an individual nutrition concept for regulating the metabolism, losing weight or simply just to feel good. True to the adage “You are what you eat” a nutrition plan tailored to each individual participant is prepared using that participant’s personal and diet-specific details and blood readings.

Here metabolic balance® adheres to the following distribution of macronutrients:
- carbohydrates (40-45%)
- fats (30-35%)
- and proteins (20-25%).

The analysis results show exactly what foods the individual should eat in what quantities to reach their target quickly and healthily. Each participant then receives coaching through four phases until the desired success is achieved.

Phase 1 consists of two detoxification days in which the body is attuned to the coming adjustment.

In Phase 2 the participants adhere strictly to the eight nutrition rules and the exact foods detailed in the plan.

With Phase 3 things become a bit more relaxed again until in Phase 4 each participant is able healthily and consciously to eat the right things, independently of the plan.

Naturally we can’t prepare a nutrition plan for you to try. But we can show you how easy it is to integrate the metabolic balance® nutrition rules into your everyday routine so that you can better plan and structure your everyday routine. Give it a go! The rules

Rule 1

3 meals a day

Always eat the three main meals of the day and refrain from snacking completely.
Rule 2

5 hours fast

After every meal, fast for at least five hours before starting the next meal.
Rule 3

Maximum 60 minutes

Each meal should last no longer than 60 minutes.

How the timer works: Activate the timer in the menu item “Eating” always at the start of each meal with the button next to the protein component selection. This ensures that your meal does not last longer than one hour. After you have finished the meal, please click on this button again. From this point the app calculates your 5-hour break until the next meal.
The 5-hour break between meals refers to the period between the end of one meal and the start of the following meal.
Rule 4

Start with protein

Start each meal with a mouthful of the protein component of the dish. An overview of the protein groups can be found here.
Rule 5

Don’t mix proteins

Eat only one type of protein per meal, ensuring however that you eat a different type in each of the three meals. An overview of the protein groups can be found here.
Rule 6

No eating after 9 pm

Avoid eating after 9 o’clock in the evening.
Rule 7

Drink enough water!

Drink enough water every day. The fluid intake calculator will tell you how much this should be exactly.
Rule 8

An apple a day ...

Eat an apple a day. Please eat this and other fruit within the 60 minutes allotted for a meal.
